Imago is a company founded in
1997 and focused at providing a high quality personalized service in
terms of promptness and reliability. We have chosen to work in
tourism while traveling through Romania and discovering the vast opportunities and
resources there are for people to enjoy. Unfortunately not only the historic
characters have created legends in this country. Bureaucratic authorities, a
badly designed and maintained general infrastructure, as well as other various
facts have generated a bad image for the country.
However Romania has much more
to offer the foreign visitor. It benefits from an outstanding tourist
potential, where the diverse scenery, the flora and fauna have all contributed
to accomplish an impressive background the tourism business can rely on. Add
here the human-related issues (traditions, habits, folklore, architecture,
legends, original outfits and music) and you have an image of what this country
can provide you with. In such a context, little is known about this potential
and about the resources Romania has to offer.
Given this data, we would like
to present you the Romania a few people know, beyond all rumors and gossips,
beyond pre-conceived ideas and breaking news. Let us introduce to your
attention the hidden little villages with great traditions in the North, the
mystic fortified churches in Central Transylvania, the remote mountains with an
intense pastoral life in Moldavia, the over 200 caves in Apuseni Mountains, the
extensive rock climbing opportunities in mountains like Bucegi, the medieval
towns and fortress all across the country or the local cuisine based on all
organic ingredients…
Through this presentation, we
have tried to provide you with a realistic and objective point of view on the
way things are nowadays. Our main goal with this website has been to present
the many options a tourist is given in Romania, the so diverse destinations,
leaving open to you the possibility of a personalized, individual request we
shall do our best to supply services for. In some cases we have presented here
the accommodation units there are, but, for your own interest, we shall look
for the best accommodation units that would suit your interest once we have
your own request. A pricelist for all services listed will be provided
separately, to make it simpler for you to make a comparison and eventually
choose the right option. In the eventuality there is an area you are
particularly interested about or there are other services you need information
